Yes, by having your furnace or AC unit cleaned annually you help insure that the system will operate more efficiently and eliminate/reduce the chances of it breaking down. In addition, it is also important to have your heating and cooling system checked annually to ensure that all of the safety controls are operating properly thus eliminating/reducing the chance of having future problems.

Why is it important to have regular maintenance on my home comfort system?

For the same reason as the answer listed above. It reduces the chance of a system breakdown.

What is a diagnostic fee?

Charge for a company to conduct a thorough diagnostic examination of your heating/cooling unit to determine the source of your problem. The fee will be applied towards any labor charges occurring thereafter.
